Cianciana is a small inland town in the Province area of Agrigento.
The town was founded in 1640 by Sigismonda Ioppolo who gave it to her son Giuseppe.
Later It became an estate of the Bonanno family.
The most important local religious feast takes place in July and it is dedicated to Saint Anthony.
July the 31st and August the 1st are dedicated to the chickpeas, broad beans and wheat soup Fair.
